Consulting, market and information base – how we work
We are specialised in yacht and aircraft insurance and are constantly monitoring this market. We want to meet the wishes and needs of our customers quickly, efficiently and to mutual satisfaction. Most of our staff are also keen water sports enthusiasts who use their experience and expertise to offer you fair and high-quality insurance solutions.
As a specialist broker, BAVARIA has made a pre-selection from the market and exclusively offers insurance products that were developed with the participating insurers. In some cases, we also agree on the participation of two or more insurers or insurance consortia, which spread the risk across different shareholdings. This participation may vary with the size and use of the insured vehicle, and can be restructured annually.
The new German insurance brokers’ law requires us to provide formalised consultation and documentation. We are constantly documenting all relevant processes for your insurance. To keep the additional bureaucracy as low as possible, routine cases and standard procedures are not documented. So we can continue to do this, we ask for your consent in the insurance application form. With your consent to our approach, you help us to continue providing you with the expert advice that is important to you and which we value.

Consumer Information
The insurance contract is based on the corresponding insurance conditions. The insurance agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The contract language is the language in which the insurance policy is written. In case of doubt, the contractual language is German. Insurance cover starts on the beginning of each chosen start day, but no earlier than the time when the insurance application arrives at our company. All insurance starts at noon on the chosen day, but no earlier than the date on which the insurance application arrives at our company. The term of the contract is 1 year. It is renewed for another year if not terminated in writing no later than three months before the end of each insured year.
Right of revocation
You may revoke your contractual declaration in writing (e.g. by fax, letter, e-mail) within two weeks without giving any reason. The right of revocation does not apply to contracts for provisional cover. The period begins on the day after you have received the insurance policy, the contract provisions including our general insurance conditions and the contract information according to Clause 7 Para. 2 of the German Insurance Contracts Act (VVG), as well as these instructions in written form.
For electronic transactions, the revocation period will only start when we have also fulfilled the additional obligations that apply especially for this sales channel, as set out in Clause 312e, Para. 1 of the German Civil Code (means for correcting input errors, confirmation of the order). The timely despatch of the revocation shall be deemed sufficient for compliance with the revocation term. The revocation is to be addressed to:
Bavaria AG Spezialmakler für Yacht- und Luftfahrzeugversicherungen

Germany
Fax: +49/(0)89/693923-99/-98

Consequences of revocation
In the event of a valid revocation, your insurance cover comes to an end and we will reimburse you with the portion of your premium related to the period after the receipt of the revocation. The portion of your premium related to the period before the receipt of the revocation may be retained if you have agreed that the insurance cover commences before the expiry of the revocation period. If you have not given such agreement or if the insurance cover only commences after the expiry of the revocation period, benefits received by both parties are to be returned. We refund premiums immediately, at the latest 30 days following receipt of the revocation.
Special notes on revocation rights
Your right of revocation is excluded if the contract has been completely fulfilled by both parties upon your express request before you have exercised your right of revocation. Should you revoke a replacement contract, your original insurance contract will remain in force. There is no right of revocation for contracts with a duration of less than one month or with insurance contracts for temporary coverage.
